Our Mission

Let’s Teach expands opportunity and inclusion to racket sports for youth in Southern California.

We partner with local programs, provide low-cost and free opportunities to play, host inclusive community-building events, and sponsor promising young athletes to create pathways for long-term participation and growth.

About Us

Let's Teach was founded by former professional tennis players John Letts and Brian Teacher.

John & Brian

John is a former All-American at Stanford University and played on the professional tour for four years. Brian is a former All-American at UCLA and played on the professional tour reaching the top ten in the world and winning the Australian Open singles title in 1981.

Both John and Brian received their bachelor’s degrees, and both always put their education first before their dreams of professional tennis. They began running municipal tennis programs together in 2009 and decided to lend their experience and knowledge to help deserving youth.
